Neil Skidmore established JSO Productions Ltd in 2001, which is run from offices in West London. Neil started working in the event and party industry more than eighteen years ago, DJing with William Bartholomew, Joffins and Juliana’s discotheques. He also spent two years as one of the resident DJ's in the Dorchester Night Club, Park Lane.
During this same period Neil was a professional dancer with the Royal Ballet Company having successfully completed his time at the Royal Balletschool, which he began at the age of eight. Neil was offered a contract with the the Royal Ballet Company at the age of seventeen. Whilst in the Royal Ballet Neil danced numerous roles in the company’s vast repertoire. He toured extensively covering most of the world. One of the highlights of his career was taking classes with the Bolshoi Ballet and dancing on the stage of Kirov Theatre. In 1994 a small group of Royal Ballet dancers including Neil, went to Kenya to help raise money for the conservation of Elephants. This was a fantastic tour which was very successful and was repeated two years later.
After twelve years with the Royal Ballet Company Neil retired from dancing and focused his attention full time on the party business. The Royal Ballet Company and school now use Neil’s services for parties and fund raising events.
Neil was offered a job with the Jonathan Seaward Organisation where he learned the serious business of party planning. He expanded the corporate sales and developed an unparalleled entertainment agency.
Four years later Neil started JSO Productions and has continued to build his own company organising a variety of fantastic and varied events. He was selected to design and organise a Royal Wedding at St James’s Palace, which was a great success. On the same evening he also created a party for David Gilmore of Pink Floyd, which was another outstanding success.
Under Neil’s leadership JSO have become approved suppliers to a number of Blue Chip companies organising a range of events such as exclusive
MD dinners to massiveChristmas parties for 3,400 guests.
The company continues to go from strength to strength and Neil is dedicated to building the future success of his company.
